       SOLAR ECLIPSE

        A solar eclipse is a condition where when the sun is shining on the earth, the sun is suddenly covered by the moon which incidentally rotates around the earth. In other words, a solar eclipse is an event where the sun is covered by the moon because at that time the position of the sun, moon and earth is in a straight line. When this phenomenon occurs the conditions on earth become pitch black because there is no sunlight entering and illuminating the earth. So even though at that time the earth was at noon, but the situation was like when the night is pitch black without sunlight.

The phenomenon of a solar eclipse occurs in several stages as follows:

1. In the first few seconds and there hasn't been any phenomenon yet, usually you will see if the bright blue sky becomes a little dim like losing one level of brightness.

2. Furthermore, when the eclipse process will begin, a black shadow will appear slowly toward the sun. This black shadow will not and is none other than the shadow of the moon which will later cover the sun.

3. The shadow of the moon which was originally small in size and eventually will get bigger and succeed in covering the sun that shines brightly, so that the sun will slowly look as if it is cutting.

4. When the sun seems to orbit, then over time it will be completely closed and make the earth pitch black. This phase is referred to as the total solar eclipse. In this phase, the entire surface of the earth crossed by the moon will be dark like the night, even though it is still in the morning / afternoon / evening.

5. After passing through the total eclipse phase, slowly the shadow of the moon that has a black color will leave the sun and the sun will again be seen to re-orbit.

6. After a total eclipse and the sun appears to orbit a second time, the shadow of the moon that has a black color will fade and disappear. This is when the sun will again illuminate the earth without any obstructions. That way the condition of the earth that had been completely dark will return to light.

     There are many causes of bullying in our society. Many school kids who bully others often do so in order to show their dominance to others and to raise their social status. They may have a high self-esteem and they may show little regret or sorrow for their bullying behaviour, as they do not see bullying as a wrong act.Others may bully out of frustration and anger as they may socially struggle or they could have been a victim of bullying themselves and feel that bullying others helps them regain themselves as a person. 

     Bullying can affect everyone in different ways depending on the person them self, how they are being bullied and how they attempt to resolve what is happening.

There can be big effects on victims of bullying and they can be left feeling:

- guilty as if it is their own fault

- hopeless like they cannot get out of the situation

- alone, like there is nobody that can help them

- unsafe

- ashamed due to what is happening to them

- rejected by those bullying them and other groups

       Bullying has a negative impact on everyone. Not only does it affect the victim and the bully but also those who are in the surroundings. Those who see or know somebody who is being bullied often feel upset, irritated, guilty and fearful. Bystanders also can feel worried that they may be bullied next. When bullying isn’t stopped it can create an environment where bullying is accepted and where everybody feels so powerless that they cannot stop it which is a really bad effect of bullying in our community today.

         Bullying can also affect the victims in ways which they become medically unstable. Someone people can be bullied so bad that they become depressed, which can then lead them to skip school and do other things that they think will make everything better but in reality it makes things worse. Many teenage victims of bullying today also turn to suicide. Suicide is the worst effect that bullying can have on victims but sadly today many lives have been lost due to bullying. The victims feel that their life is so bad that they will be better off ending it. Bullies do not understand that from them saying a few nasty comments to the person sitting by themselves on the bus, or the boy that doesn’t talk to anyone, that it can have such an impact. Not only does the effect of bullying (suicide) have an effect on the victim, it also has an effect on the victim’s family and the bully themselves.

       How are you? I haven't sent you a letter in a long time. I'm sorry lately I'm very busy with my school work. but I immediately wrote this letter when I finally had a little free time. I miss you so much.
       What if I went to your house this weekend? I haven't been there in a long time.You know I really miss the time I spent with you. we usually play games together, go for a walk in the park, play with your pet rabbits, watch dramas, make cakes in the kitchen, and also go to the city library.
